A major player in the heavy engineering sector is urgently seeking a Procurement Officer for a Contract position which will run through until at least the end of November 2008. You will be working in a ‘best practice’ environment and be able to:-

Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation documents
Expedite on-time submission of supplier quotations
Analysis of Quotations received
Negotiate Terms and Conditions
Arrange third party inspections at subcontracts plants if required.

Of course you will need to be motivated, possess high attention to detail, enjoy problem solving and have excellent communication skills.
