Project Procure is pleased to announce the following appointments: Steve Semple - Manager Steve joined the team in the middle of January. Steve has over 20 years’ experience within the commercial, procurement and contracts sector, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He has been with BAE Systems as the head of Commercial and Procurement, Land and Integrated systems. He has been leading a team and their focus is within a variety of sectors – security, Defence, industrial, and building services. Prior to BAE he worked for Tenix Defence leading the commercial, procurement and in-house legal teams. Steve has degree in Law and Engineering and enjoys being part of legal in-house teams. Eugene Yeoh - Manager Eugene has over 8 years of procurement experience in the financial services, outsourcing, oil and gas, government and defence industry in Australia and the UK. He has worked in various global and regional category lead capacities, delivering category management, business process outsourcing and expense management initiatives. Throughout his procurement career, he has managed in excess of AUD$1 billion total annual spend. Eugene's "can do" attitude, proactive stakeholder engagement and ability to understand business needs has enabled him to deliver innovative problem solving solutions. He recently returned to Australia from the UK after spending 4 years in London. He currently lives in Sydney. Eugene has a degree in Law and commerce and was admitted to the law courts in South Australia in 2002. David Kirkpatrick - Senior Principal David’s professional career comprises more than twenty years in Engineering Project Management. This includes over fifteen years in government and civil infrastructure procurement. David has gained his knowledge and experience of procurement from providing advisory services with Queensland Government agencies such as Ipswich City Council, Queensland Health, Queensland Rail, Transport and Main Roads, Whitsunday Regional Council and the Department of Education and Training. Ryan Jackson - Senior Consultant Ryan has a range of experience on commercial sector and resource sector construction projects as well as experience in the administration of mining production and services contracts. He has built on his early experience as a carpenter by furthering his professional development with a degree in Construction Management and to date has approximately 5 years’ experience in contracts administration and procurement on projects for Client Side, EPCM Contractors and Principle Contractors. Matt Dickson - Senior Consultant Matt joined us in December and has experience working on a variety of health, government, retail, commercial and education projects. Matt’s exposure to various contract types, market sectors, project phases and stakeholder groups has resulted in a broad knowledge of numerous aspects of construction work and contract administration. We also welcome Mark Henderson back to Project Procure. Mark is a Director of Project Procure and has spent the last 18 months heading up the Strategic Contracts area for the South Australian Government. Mark will be based in Adelaide and heads our Melbourne office and our new Adelaide office. Mark has more than 15 years experience in delivering procurement and leading procurement teams in major organisations across a range of industries. Through his various roles which include Manager of Commercial Contracts for ENERGEX, Manager of Supplier Management and Procurement for Boeing Australia, Director of Strategic Contracts in Shared Services SA and delivering services to the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, Mark has developed significant knowledge and experience in government procurement policies and procedures; probity; best practice procurement practices; and stakeholder management. |
